Section Description

Course Description: Healing Touch Level 2 is for students who have completed Level I and wish to increase breadth and depth in the study of Healing Touch. The second level of study of Healing Touch includes an intake interview, back techniques and a full healing sequence. Emphasis in the experiential learning is on developing sequences for specific client needs.

Section Expectation

Course Objectives: The participant will: 1. Share the experience of practicing Level I techniques. 2. Develop interviewing and additional assessment skills. 3. Demonstrate a one-hour healing sequence for specific client problems. 4. Document clinical work. 5. Practice back and neck techniques in addressing client health challenges. 6. Describe specific techniques in addressing client health problems.

Evaluation

Course Assignments/Evaluation Methods: 1. Demonstration of Healing Touch Level 2 techniques/ Class participation 50% 2. Completion of homework: Documentation of Healing Touch techniques: Spiral Meditation, Mind Clearing, Wound Closing, Pain Ridge, Pain Drain, Sealing Leaks, Back Techniques including one-hour healing sequence for specific client problems (assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation). 10% 3. Self-assessment ? 10% 4. Development of a self-care plan including spiral meditation with self chakra connection ? 10% 5. Documentation in a self-care journal what you did and didn?t do, what worked, what you noticed energetically about your self especially doing the spiral meditation with self chakra connection. Ten entries. 20%
