About CDAE 095 WC1

This course will introduce concepts and fundamental knowledge about preparing for a professional business plan for your dream venture, utilizing intensive data search, hands on activities, and interactive presentations. Topics include industry and market research, marketing strategies, financial analysis, human resource management, legal issues, intellectual property protection, product development, consumer relationship, and risk analysis.


Winter Session On Campus Course: 12/26/13-1/10/14; 9:00 am-3:00 pm Thurs-Mon (Jan 2-6); Non-CEN majors only; Open to both CE and Degree Students. This course may or may not fulfill degree requirements for UVM students. Please consult with your Dean's Office if you have any questions about applicability of winter session courses toward graduation requirements.

Section Description

This course will cover materials and information about starting your own business for non-entrepreneurship major only. Information will include start-up preparation, legal issues, registration, industry analysis, market analysis, financial analysis, and risk management.
