Prepare for Your MBA
Students interested in the Master of Business Administration program are encouraged to take pre-requisite courses through Continuing Education. In addition, students are able to take up to 9 credits through Continuing Education before applying and being admitted to the program. UVM courses maybe preferred as the academic quality is ensured. Students will be introduced to the UVM community and meet fellow students. A letter grade of B or better must be obtained for the class to count toward the MBA program requirements.

The Gund Institute for Ecological Economics offers a graduate-level Certificate Program in Ecological Economics. Ecological economics is a new transdisciplinary field of study that addresses the relationships between ecological systems and economic systems in the broadest sense. The Certificate of Graduate Study in Ecological Economics connects the many different fields of study that provide students with an opportunity to venture beyond academia and into a new world of solution-oriented learning even as they continue their concentrated studies in a traditional discipline.

The Master of Public Administration at the University of Vermont is a professional interdisciplinary degree that prepares public leaders by combining the theoretical and practical foundations of public administration with the democratic traditions that are a hallmark of Vermont communities.
Earn your Masters of Accountancy
Excel within the public accounting profession by earning your Masters in Accountancy. This degree requires at least thirty credits beyond a bachelor’s degree and completion of prerequisite courses. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) requires 150 academic credits for membership in the organization and most states require 150 credits for licensure as a CPA. Each state sets its own specific requirements for completing the CPA examination and the State Board should be contacted for the specific courses required by the state in which you plan to work.
