Leaders in agriculture, nutrition, community development, and public health are needed more now than ever. Our future depends on sustainable food systems, eating well, and the health of our communities. Students and professionals interested in joining the innovative, complex fields of agriculture, nutrition and public health can find a variety of programs and hands-on training at the University of Vermont’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
Our college has developed a wide range of continuing education programs for people at all stages of their education and career. For high school students during the summer, we offer a pre-veterinarian course of study in our Summer Academy pre-college program. For professionals interested in advancing within agriculture careers, we offer farm-based hands-on intensive summer courses and programs and farmer training program. Within health sciences, UVM offers a certificate in health care management and public health.
Educational programs offered by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Vermont can open doors to a new career or advance within an established career.
