Career Spotlight

Pre-MBA

Why it’s hot: Today’s MBA student is tomorrow’s entrepreneur. Obtaining Obtaining a master’s in business administration can be one of the quickest ways to jump start your career. Not only will you gain valuable skills in business management and learn how to survive in today’s competitive global marketplace, you also will benefit from networking with business leaders and fellow students. An MBA can help you advance in your career, change jobs or even start your own business.

Careers: Although a stagnant economy has led to a decrease in the number of positions in investment banking and manufacturing, the market for MBAs remains hot in the areas of accounting, marketing, management, consulting, financial analysis, commercial banking, healthcare, insurance, information systems and portfolio management.
