 Community/Cultural Events

The Lane Series - UVM's Lane Series brings world-class performing artists to campus and community. Presenting areas include classical music, early music, folk music, opera, jazz, popular, cutting-edge new music and theatre.

The Aiken Lecture Series - the annual Aiken Lecture(s) is hosted at the University to provide a platform for distinctive views on critical American issues, and is the University's major annual public-policy forum. The Aiken Lectures are free and open to the public.

Film+ Music on a Summer Night - presents free, family-friendly events out-of-doors on UVM's Redstone Campus in Burlington Taking place on Saturday nights in July, Film + Music features picnicking at 6 p.m., band at 7 p.m., and movie at 9 p.m.

Osher Summer Institute - "Creativity in Later Life". An opportunity to explore creativity as a means of increased self-fulfillment and satisfaction in later life. Interactive workshop will provide opportunities for self expression and exploration while having fun.
