Careers: Although a stagnant economy has led to a decrease in the number of positions in investment banking and manufacturing, the market for MBAs remains hot in the areas of accounting, marketing, management, consulting, financial analysis, commercial banking, healthcare, insurance, information systems and portfolio management. UVM’s program: Our pre-MBA sequence allows you to fulfill the necessary prerequisites for UVM’s MBA Program, the only such program in Vermont accredited by the AACSB, the national U.S. accrediting organization for master’s degree programs in business. All five courses are geared toward working adults, meeting in the evenings on campus or online. Two-thirds of the students in the MBA Program attend part time.
